Basics

• Don’t be a dick. Simple enough right? • Keep IC/OOC separate. (We know that this is a hard rule to follow sometimes, but then again we all know that we are adults). IC drama that is agreed upon by both players is completely fine. Talk/plot it out, come up with your plan and then go with it. When IC crosses into OOC then that’s where your friendly mods will step in and take care of the situation. Please if you have an issue with them contact them through the dropbox and they will get back with you asap. • We will not be setting a main server. If you would like to have one for yourselves you are more than welcome to do so. • Content that is/could be considered inappropriate for public viewing needs to be placed under a LJ-Cut and a warning should be attached to it. • Sensitive subject matter should be placed under a cut and marked with trigger words. • PB's cannot be more than five years older/younger than they are in real life. • HAVE FUN and BE CREATIVE.

How to Join

• There is currently a four character limit. • Must have both an IC and OOC post • Journals need to be IC with few to not underscores or numbers in them. • Must Have a few detailed bullet points or paragraphs about your character (ie: Name, age, birthday, which Borough in NYC that they are located in) • Once your application has been accepted you are expected to post an intro to ~fiveboroughs within 72hrs. • Make sure to join ~fiveboroughs as well as joining ~themetro. • Adds will be done twice a week on Tuesdays & Fridays.

Activity

• You must have 2 forms of activity every month. If your character is added after the 20th of the month then their intro post will count for that month’s activity. • You must have at least ONE interactive activity every month. • Forms of activity: Narrative, scenes with at least six replies with your character. playlists, moodboards, instagram/facebood/twitter posts. Really the sky is the limit, just be creative.

Etc

IC Drama Most places don’t talk about drama when it comes to rpg. We encourage plots as long as it is believable. Life isn’t always perfect and sometimes the only way for character growth is to have them experience life altering events. The biggest thing to consider when thinking about IC drama is to make sure you have discussed with your SLP if this event will affect someone else. • It is also understood that not everyone will not get along character wise. It’s bound to happen, as we’re all human and our muses are too. However that DOES NOT MEAN that you are allowed to just randomly be a horrible person to someone else. Talk to them, and if it gets out of hand then come talk to the mods. They can be contacted through the dropbox and one of them will get back with you asap.
